Sunbeam

While I just thought about touching you~

I sighted a dew drop glowing with sunbeam~

i would gently touch all your scars~

the way Dew falls from the edge of leaf~

kiss all the places your tears fall~

the way sunbeams light up that drop~

and be your reason to love again~

just the way a day breaks on a GOOD MORNING~

Transient Moods

 I saw you first~

in a train compartment~

sitting on a berth opposite me.

You were reading a book,~

"The Forty Rules of Love"

And I had already~

started being disciplined.~~

You were reading a book~

and I was reading your face.

I read all the emotions there, 

Happiness~

Pleasure~

Anger~

Anguish~

Sorrow~

.

.

.

The ambient light~

kept changing the angle~

And I kept discovering you~

in different lights.

The day came to an end~

so did your reading~

but not mine.

I read your innocent face~

long afTer you slept~

and stretched the curve of smile~

on your face to mine~

for whole of the night~

till a GOOD MORNING...

Mundane Life

 I found you after ages~

and I thought~

what I got out of you.

I still breathe the same air~

I still do the same chores~

still I eat the same food and~

drink the same water.

But yes, my dry eyes~

don't look around anymore.

Tattoo for Fate

 Lines on my hand~

defeated me in the way~

that I felt like handicapped.

Wish I could have a tattoo~

for my fate~

or a tattoo for my mind~

or one for my stars.

And when I went~

to fetch you moon~

stars pricked my feet~

and bled them.

Walking on the clouds~

somehow~

I led to the Sun~

and I burnt my hands~

head down~

I came to you~

empty hand~

only but with a boil.

You held my hand~

caressed and kissed~

there I realised that~

the boil was moon shaped~

and it turned to be~

a GOOD DAY.

Death of the Words

 My words were wandering their weary way~

just in time they found a meaning~

the words were all silenced~

and died an untimely death....

Moon under the Cloud

 In your embrace~

while I inhaled~

the fragrance of your company.

We stuck to each other~

and appeared as one~

Our heaving sighs~

mixed with one another~

and spread the numbing music~

all around us. 

Just when we drank~

each other~

it's like~

we were thirsty all our lives.

You fell like an ocean wave~

into my arms~

and I was gushed~

along with you.

Together we reached~

for the stars.

You became my Moon~

and I became the cloud~

on that NIGHT..

Perennial Search

 You change my perceptions~

so readily.

While you were around~

I used to look~

the roads only~

with a perpetual smile~

in my eyes~

A cute couple~

sparked my imagination.

Now that you've gone afar~

I keep looking around~

till the horizon~

with an unending search~

in my eyes.

A permanent frown~

has encroached my forehead~

and on seeing a cute couple~

I feel like avenging on them.

The days crawl~

like hell and~

the sky makes me blue~

I stare at the Sun~

eyeball to eyeball~

and burn it everyday~

with the fire in my belly...

The Taken Road

 In woods where~

the two roads diverged.

We took a halt~

for the night and~

talked the day out~

without letting the conversation~

falling victim to the lame words.

Sitting along a bon-fire~

You wrote your name~

with your finger~

on my hairy chest~

That name was etched~

on my soul for eternity~

Unaware of the 'morrow~

I combed your hair~

with my fingers~

and we let~

a GOOD NIGHT slip away in eyes...

Wishful Desire

 Your melodious eyes~

weave a web of magic~

arOund my soul~

And grant me~

the blessing of the dreams~

Somewhere beyond time~

the fragrant dreams~

pull me out of the slumber~

and there~

You stand before me~

out of my dream~

to spread the fragrance~

in my life.

Riot of Colors

 The riot of colors~

in your clothes~

and all around~

pulls me towards you.

So much I wish~

to share umbrella with you~

while both of us~

are getting wet~

with desire. 

The droplets of water~

burn both of us~

and half wet~

we hug each other~

and slide into~

the depths of lust.

Beyond Time and Space

 Your breath is the breeze~

that floats me your dreams~

carry me away~

to the clouds~

where we play~

unconstrained by~

restrictions of our bodies.

Swaying to that breeze~

we reach~

beyond time~

beyond space~

where I lose the dirction~

of day and night~

there you feed my trust~

and starve my doubts~

to carry me through the day.

Fragrant Colors

 When it rains~

on you~

it dampens my spirits~

but

When I write for you~

the thoughts pamper me~

they fondle me on my soul~

And~

words elude me~

they fly around~

like a butterfly~

spreading colors.

Everyday it's you~

in my words~

that I etch on my soul~

with an ink~

that carries your fragrance.

The whole night~

becomes a long dream~

till the time i wait~

for putting you into words.

Drowning Sea

 Walking with you~

hand in hand~

the waves of~

the mighty sea~

fear and wane~

Only to touch~

your bare-feet~

again and again.

They also clear~

from the soaked sand~

your foot-prints~

recede back and mix~

into the saline sea~

to sanitize.

The Sun gets~

on its knees~

to beg of you~

And I stake pride~

in the fact that~

I get to walk hand in hand.

You raise your arm~

to order the winds~

and white robe~

you are wearing~

starts to flutter.

And I start seeing the moon~

much before~

the Sun is set~

on a GREAT DAY...

Mellow Breeze through Morning Haze

 When you open a window~

and the sweet rays~

of Orange sun~

filtering through the morning haze~

meet your eyes.

The cool breeze~

filtered by the leaves~

makes whistling sounds.

The flowing waters~

in the channel~

wet the rocks~

on one side~

makes insane noises.

They all make you close your eyes~

and inhale all the air~

of the universe.

And I just stand there~

leaning against the rock~

with arms wrapped;~

head tilted;~

eyes smiling~

and seeing you from a distance.

Edge of Blue Sky

Sitting on~

the edge of a rock~

facing the Blue Sea~

rising till the blue sky~

on the horizon~

in tranquility~

enjoying the serene sounds of the waves~

and moon on the sky of my mind.

When I think about you~

a new Sun rises in my mind~

which bleeds the horizon~

and brings about~

a GOOD MORNING.

Cloud Walk

 The fall of dawn~

on an autumn morning~

after long and scorching spell~

of summer heat and dust~

first cool breeze~

splashing right in the face~

feels like~

a walk in clouds of heaven.

Go out~

stare at the Sun~

eyeball to eyeball~

inhale the cool breeze~

let the fresh air~

stay inside you~

feel the joy of the cloud walk~

with raised head and shut eyes~

deep breathing~

Mellow Breeze

 When you stretch your arms~

while I wake you up~

That ear to ear smile~

is capable of making my day~

to go to sleep~

once again~

like the night before.

I bring in the tray~

with your favorite coffee~

boiling in the cup~

your almond eyes speak,

"I LOVE YOU".

Saline Sea

Your name on the sands~

of the shore~

was did awash~

by a wave mean.

But then it got mixed~

into the sea~

and made~

all the sea saline...

On Road to Nowhere

 When I drive~

on a random road to nowhere~

I see you across every bend.

Seeing dreams~

with eyes wide open~

The fragrance of tilled soil~

catches our fancies~

and makes both of us smile~

The nature goes Green~

on seeing us together~

The winds get on our side~

start rioting~

and fight out with plants.

They make the green plants~

bow before you.

Just when you excuse them~

the wind blows a flick of lock~

on your forehead before your eyes~

I just relish the view~

with red horizon~

Bleeding Sun

 A secluded beach~

Sun setting~

ocean of desires~

With you and me~

looking at the horizon.

Waves making insane noise~

a cool breeze splashing us~

in our face.

When you tilted your head~

to place it on my shoulder~

shut your eyes~

the waves calmed~

breeze turned mellow~

the Sun bled and lost it's life~

to make a GOOD EVENING for you.

Dawn and Dusk

 You’re the dawn, at full length of day,

Me the dusk lie far away,

You shine like a star studded sky,

Dense dark is where I stay.

Petal borne are ways you tread,

Where I dwell, thorns sway.

Journey is the Destination

 On a secluded road~

we travelled together~

till eternity.

We take pride in the beauty of path~

while the destination glares~

cuddling and pampering~

 Just a sight of you~
