Silent Fragrance

On a silent day~

so silent that~

the silence hummed~

into my ears~

all through the day.

It was stark silent~

only but one fragrance~

somewhere around me~

kept talking to the clouds~

for the whole day~

while I crushed~

the dried up leaves~

of the day~

on that fateful evening.
